Drink Your Greens!
Girl, if you don’t love your greens, you better start! And if you only eat one green the rest of your life, make it kale, which is packed with CALCIUM (yes — equivalent to milk) and vitamins A, C and K. But if you’re not into steaming kale and eating it with some olive oil and sea salt, or making yummy kale chips, then try this smoothie — it’ll make the medicine go down a little easier — thanks pineapple! Puree these ingredients in a blender until smooth!
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (preferably homemade, to make sure you get a good dose of your good fats)
- 1 cup packed chopped kale
- 1/2 cup pineapple juice
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple
- 1 banana
